Rwanda
The UN declared 7th April 2004 as the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide in Rwanda. In 1994, over 900,000 Rwandans were killed during a 100-day period between April and July. The mayhem produced a massive refugee crisis and left almost 100,000 children orphaned.
