Praying with women on the VVF ward

A pastor praying with women on the VVF (Vesicovaginal) ward. A large component of the VVF programme is counselling. Women of standing from all faiths are chosen from and by the community to listen to the women and provide support and understanding to work through much of the psychosocial trauma that many of the patients have been through. This CBM supported programme bases its values upon the Christian faith, however an interfaith approach is taken to cater for all people regardless of religion.
