Getting water

Regulated amounts of water are collected in Dakhla camp during the morning and late afternoon. It is one of two camps to have its own underground source. In the last few years, the Saharawis have significantly reduced contamination by building extensive pipe networks to distribute the water. This has eliminated any further outbreaks of cholera, which have taken place from time to time.
