Changing a dressing

The dressing is changed on the bandages of a young boy caught by a stray bullet near Goma. The bullet shattered the bridge of his nose, blinding him in both eyes. Much of the work done by organisations like CBM is in the long term rehabilitation of people who are permanently disabled. Education programmes must cater for children like this boy to re-enter the education system and have opportunities as his rights dictate.
